What Does Jesus Ask of Me?

1.) Deny self

  • Reject self-centred living

  • 2 Corinthians 5:15 "Jesus died for all, so that those who live no longer live for themselves but Him who died for them and was raised again

2.) Take up cross .

  • Identify with Christ's suffering

  • 1 Peter 4:13-14 "But rejoice inasmuch as you participate in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed when His glory is revealed. If you are insulted because of the name of Christ, you are blessed, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you.

3.) Follow me

  • Walk faithfully in Jesus' footsteps

  • 1 John 2:6 "Those who say they live in God should live their lives as Jesus did."
